FRAMEWORK TRANSFER THROUGH DESIGN

During its first years of activity, DRLab designed and applied formats, processes and tools through experimental activities with actors on the Trentino territory from contexts that traditionally do not adopt design culture as a strategic lever in their organizations.

The set of actions designed by the DRLab, in order to disseminate and transfer design knowledge on the Trentino territory, refers to one of the ways of fielding research in design, namely Research Through Design (RTD). Hence the design of a framework for the transfer of design knowledge that can be applied locally according to a human-centred approach where collaboration, inclusive experimentation and design-based innovation are the values that inspire and guide the different actions.

Therefore, DRLab's Transfer Through Design (TTD) framework facilitates the transfer of human-centered design skills according to activities divided into three areas-services, training, and projects-that describe their scale of complexity with respect to back-end application and co-design.
