ARCHITECTURE AS A MESTILE everyday life and project quality

A series of meetings dedicated to the figure of the architect, to the concrete everyday life of his profession, to tell about its approaches, issues, challenges and opportunities. Once a month, a firm operating in nearby "provincial" territories will be our guest to share their work, from thought to construction site. What contribution can we make to the territory and society, the environment and the economy, today?

The cycle is offered in the context of the collaboration between the Order of Architects, the University of Trento (DRLab) and S. Chiara Cultural Services Center on the Cultural and Creative Enterprises Project - macroarea Architecture and Design.

REBUILD

The meeting is dedicated to the theme of REHABITATING THE EXISTING through an exploration of the work of two studios active in the Western Alps, both based in the province of Cuneo.

Fabio Revetria, Lara Sappa (officina82)

They graduated in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Turin - Mondovi branch. In 2007 they founded Studio Officina82. Today, the studio deals in an interdisciplinary way with microarchitecture, rehabilitation, landscape design and museum design. In 2019 they create the StarsBOX® brand to rethink tourism through a light infrastructure of the territory, and from 2020 they are promoters and designers of Selucente, an initiative aimed at the recovery of an Alpine hamlet in the Ligurian Alps.

Dario Castellino (Dario Castellino Architect)

Graduated in Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Turin, in 1994 he began his professional activity dealing with architectural design, restoration, urban redevelopment, rehabilitation of religious buildings, museum design, residential and tertiary building design. He has collaborated with internationally renowned artists and taught at the Faculty of Architecture in Turin. Some of his works are published in journals and books and have won prizes and awards.
