Technology is now transforming society faster than we are able to perceive. The cultural and creative industries are navigating this reality by trying, like other sectors, to seize the challenges that digital makes available, trying to distinguish short-term phenomena from the more consistent trends to focus on. In this new appointment, the exploration of opportunities for the cultural and creative industries continues along three main lines: new opportunities for digital learning; new spaces to imagine straddling image, metaverse, and artificial intelligence; and new strategies for design in these contexts. By bringing industry and academia together, new directions for work and directions for the development of the CCI ecosystem in relation to technological development will emerge.
The event is produced by the Center for Research on Cultural and Creative Industries and the Advanced Design Unit of the Universitỳ of Bologna in collaboration with the Design Research Lab of the University of Trento, under the care of Dr. Andrea Cattabriga.
