Our field of study is Design Research and we are interested in human-centred design of system and services.

Design Research

Field of study that deals with understanding what knowledge is necessary for design , how it can be used for design activities and how the same design activities can in turn produce new knowledge.

Service design

Discipline that deals with service design in environments that could benefit from its strategic and performative empowerment potential.

Why Service Design?

It encourages and supports collaboration by promoting empathy and inclusion.

It generates new ideas and perspectives that allow the design of valid and unexplored innovation paths.

It facilitates the visualization of complex systems, favoring the understanding of otherwise intangible elements.

It improves the learning process of the design context through a “learning by doing” approach.

Our actions are guided by a human-centred approach. Collaboration, inclusive experimentation and design-based innovation are the values that inspire and guide our actions. We alternate between explorative and applicative field actions with internal analytical and evaluative actions.
