A series of meetings dedicated to the figure of the architect, to the concrete everyday life of his profession, to tell about its approaches, issues, challenges and opportunities. Once a month, a firm operating in nearby "provincial" territories will be our guest to share their work, from thought to construction site. What contribution can we make to the territory and society, the environment and the economy, today?

 

The cycle is offered in the context of the collaboration between the Order of Architects, the University of Trento (DRLab) and S. Chiara Cultural Services Center on the Cultural and Creative Enterprises Project - macroarea Architecture and Design.

a25architects

Founded in 2018 by brothers Francesco (1987) and Paolo (1982) Manzoni, a25architects is an architectural firm based in Sirtori, a small town at the foot of the Montevecchia hill ridge in upper Brianza. Its interests are transversal, from architecture to urban planning, from interiors to design thanks to the different skills gained over the years in these areas, with the possibility of managing the project in its entirety.

Located in a studio house, a25architects thus wants to make possible the search for an intense relationship between work life and home life, in order to be able to find the "focus" and give answers to the existential and deep issues of living, now hidden, but with the possibility
to be recovered within the interconnected world in which we live. Therefore, it is at this precise moment in history that starting from the search for the atmospheres of a place or space, with the history and matter of which they are composed, we can return to the design of man's desire for living, thus enhancing the identity and culture of our territory.

In 2019 and 2021 a25architects was selected with five other Italian firms for the International architectural Piranesi Award 2019. In 2020, he won the BigSEE Architecture Awards 2020 for the Public and commercial architecture category.
In November 2021, the National Council of Architects PPC bestowed the "Young Talent of Italian Architecture 2021" award.
